Lowry visit helps year twos learn about art

Year 2 pupils at the Lowry

Boys and girls in the infants enjoyed an artistic day out last week when they visited the Lowry gallery in Salford Quays.

After exploring the gallery, year two used LS Lowry’s drawings as inspiration for their own works of art.

Using different pencil techniques, the children then drew different portraits and will be able to use their newfound skills in their Art classes back at school.
