Holocaust memorial exhibition

Pupils from year five in the Junior School through to the upper sixth form in the Senior School have contributed work towards the Holocaust memorial exhibition currently taking place in the Hallam Hall.

The exhibition is just one of several ways Stockport Grammar School is marking Thursday’s Holocaust Memorial Day, with pupils from across the school taking part in lectures, performances and question and answer sessions to help them consider and reflect on the aftermath of the human disaster.

A matinee performance of the Classics department’s production of Trojan Women will also form part of the day, with references to the Holocaust being included in the script to allow the play to be used as a means of exploring wider themes.
