Year three children enjoy a night in the Lake District

Pupils in Grasmere on Lake District trip

On Monday 13th June, year three went to Grasmere. Grasmere is a conservation area in the Lake District. We stayed in the Youth Hostel and we loved it!

When we arrived in Grasmere we went on the play park at Brockhole in Bowness and then had our lunch. Afterwards, we got back on the bus and went to Windermere where we saw some amazing fish and other creatures at the aquarium.

Later on we arrived at the youth hostel where we made our beds and then went down to tea. After tea we went out to play in the garden and then had a teddy bear competition! Finally we went up to our bedrooms and had a few minutes to settle down before going to sleep.

The next day, after breakfast, we packed our things then went for a walk to the park in Grasmere. We played for a bit then set off on a walk around the village where we stopped off at the green for birthday cake for Billy and Thomas’s birthday.

We went back to the park to have lunch and then got on the bus to come home. We all really enjoyed the trip!
