Old Stopfordians and staff reminisce at our 1980s reunion

1980s reunion barbecue

Staff and former pupils who were at Stockport Grammar during the 1980s returned to the school on a recent Saturday afternoon for a reunion barbecue.

Held in the quad and the Hallam hall, the Old Stopfordians and their families enjoyed catching up and reminiscing with old friends and teachers, with displays of photos from the archive on display helping to jog their memories. And while the adults enjoyed recollecting the past, their children had lots of fun on the bouncy castle and at the ice cream van.

Notes of thanks, along with messages from those who were unable to attend, have been posted on our Facebook page, as well as a full set of over 50 photographs from the day.
