Our rugby U15s have moved one step closer to Twickenham after reaching round six of the Daily Mail Cup where they will face a crunch match against either Lancaster or Leeds.
After seeing off Wilmslow High 41–0 in round four, the boys’ next challenge came last week in a fixture against Wirral Grammar, who they went on to comfortably beat 58-3.
Whoever the team face in the next round will represent a massive test, but with an amazing record of just one defeat in three years, our boys will be able to go into the match with confidence and the knowledge that a win would put them within three games of the national final at Twickenham.
Our 1st XV are also progressing well in the Daily Mail Vase, the competition for teams knocked out in the early stages of the Daily Mail Cup. The boys beat All Hallows 42-0 last week and will play Altrincham Grammar in round five next Wednesday.
