Infant nativity plays help bring term to festive close

Nursery and Reception nativity

Children in the infants and their families will have some wonderful memories to cherish this Christmas after performing in and watching a pair of wonderful nativity plays.

The nursery and reception children performed Shine Star, Shine, the story of a big star losing his sparkle on the way to Bethlehem. But to the delight of the parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters in the audience, the star finally shone and helped everyone find their way to the stable to see Joseph, Mary and the baby.

In years one and two, the children performed A Christmas Recipe, which told the tale of the boys and girls looking for the secret recipe for the true meaning of Christmas.

With singing, dancing and colourful costumes, the show was enjoyed by all who witnessed both the matinee and evening performances, with a beautiful rendition of Away in a Manger providing the highlight and bringing tears to the eyes of the audience.
