Laurence Heijbroek to run London marathon for Sense

Laurence Heijbroek (OS 2010) is in training for this year’s London marathon, which he is running for Sense, a national charity that supports deafblind children and adults.

Laurence himself explains that his decision to support Sense comes from his time at Stockport Grammar:

A few months ago I decided to run the London marathon for a charity called Sense, which is the UK’s leading charity for deafblind people.  I’m doing this to try and raise awareness of this cause, as it was the organisation I did my Duke of Edinburgh’s award residential with last summer!

If there is any possibility you would be able to support me in some way or another I would be most grateful. I believe it would be fitting as it was through the school that I have come in contact with this charity and have been presented with the opportunity to run.

If you would like to sponsor Laurence’s marathon, you can do so online by following this link to his Virgin Money Giving page.
