Molly wins first prize as pupils’ French speaking skills are put to test

French flag

Molly Clarke’s French pronunciation and accent won her the top prize in our Modern Foreign Languages department’s speaking competition.

Every pupil was given the chance to enter the competition in their Third Year French lessons, with contestants having to read a pre-prepared poem. Teachers then picked their top two speakers from each class to compete in the final.

Prizes and runners-up

Molly won a £15 iTunes voucher for finishing first, with Paul Wong and Georgia Burns picking up the runners-up prizes.
