“A journey of acceptance, love and compassion”
Directed by Head of Drama Mrs Alison Moffatt, The Tempest is a story of love, power, greed, magic and revenge:
On an island of magic, Prospero, the wronged Duke of Milan, has been cast away. With no other company but his daughter Miranda and the spirits of the isle, his vengeance against those who have wronged him grows. When his enemies sail close to the island he sees his opportunity. Intent on revenge he raises a magical tempest that shipwrecks his enemies on his shores. But, what begins as a search for retribution develops into a journey of acceptance, love and compassion.
Pupils can purchase tickets from the Woodsmoor office until 1st March and then the box office in the main quad after this date.
