Artists’ work hung at Out of Schools show

Some of the school’s finest artists had their work exhibited at the Manchester School of Art’s Out of Schools show over the summer, a celebration of pupils’ work from schools across the region that showcases exceptional achievements in art and design.

Our pupils’ work, all which interpreted the theme of the show’s title In Your Environment, also featured in our own exhibition earlier in the year, while William Robinson’s paintings were entered into the Saatchi Gallery and Sunday Telegraph art prize for schools competition back in January.

As well as having her work hung at the exhibition, Abi Hunter was joined by Nicola Ellwood in being lucky enough to attend Manchester Metropolitan University’s summer school, where they received some expert tuition and were introduced to a range of new techniques.
