Cross country runners Georgia Fazakerley and Daisy Keigher both finished first place in their races at the Ajis championships in challenging conditions on the Fylde coast.
Georgia and Daisy won the girls’ U11 and U10 races respectively, with a frantic first 200 metres combined with the Irish Sea’s strong winds making for a physically demanding course.
Although our boys finished further down the places in their races, all of our runners – many of who were competing in a cross country event for the first time – can be proud of their performances on such a tough circuit.
