Infant artists influenced by Lowry

Infants learning about history’s greatest artists spent a day at the Lowry galleries in Salford to discover more about Manchester’s most famous painter.

A session in the centre’s classrooms introduced our pupils to different pencil techniques and drawing styles before they went on to explore the galleries to take inspiration from LS Lowry’s original portraits.

The children will now use their newfound skills in their Art classes back at school, where their work on the likes of Lowry and Picasso always make for stunning displays on the walls of the Infant department.
