Twelve of Stockport Grammar’s top artists have had their stunning work entered for the Saatchi Gallery/Deutsche Bank art prize for schools.
Our upper sixth form pupils’ work, much of which was displayed at our own A-level art exhibition in May, explores a variety of different themes and has been completed using a wide range of different media.
The prestigious prize is open to schools around the world, and with £10,000 of art equipment vouchers going to the winner’s school and £2,000 to the artist, everyone at Stockport Grammar is hoping our pupils are named in February’s final shortlist.

All our artists’ entries are available to view on the Saatchi Gallery website, and the final shortlist will be featured in an exhibition at the gallery next month.
Last year’s entries by Will Robinson, Katherine Weeks and Arabella Kasler are also still available to view on the Saatchi Gallery website.
