As well as Stockport Grammar’s appearance in the schools championships for girls national final, 1st XI hockey star Holly Hunt is busy training for a possible place with her club in the Maxinutrition Hockey 5s final at Wembley Arena.
England U16s player Holly enjoyed time on the pitch with Bowdon Hightown during the league stage of the competition – in which the club were undefeated in their eight games – and preparing for the final alongside current and former Great Britain and England stars has proved to be a great experience.
The final against Reading at Wembley will take place alongside the men’s semi-finals and final on Sunday 2nd February and will be televised on Sky Sports. Tickets are available from the Wembley Arena website.
