Paintings by our second year artists will raise money for the Rainbow Trust when they are auctioned for the children’s charity.
The canvases will be sold at a masquerade ball at Gorton monastery this Friday 13th February 2015, and the money raised will help some of the 6,000 families in England who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
The auction is part of event organisers Event Results’ children helping children campaign, which encourages pupils to help others through their creativity instead of asking them for any money.
“The talent is incredible”
Organiser Heather Cassidy was delighted with the artwork created by our second years and pupils who attend art club:
The detail and talent is incredible and it was my pleasure to meet the pupils and their fantastic teacher Dr Kampelmann.
I wish I had had an art teacher like this incredibly inspiring woman whose dedication and passion for the subject clearly shows!

All our pupils’ artwork can be seen on the Events Results website and silent bids can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday’s auction.
