Netball: U13s come second in national cup

Smile U13s independent schools netball cup finalists

Our U13s finished second in the Smile independent schools netball cup after a wonderful run in the competition.

The girls lost to Berkhamsted in the tournament final in Essex but can be proud of finishing as runners-up in Stockport Grammar’s first ever year in the cup.

“A delight to work with”

PE teacher Mrs Katrina Wilkinson said the girls were outstanding:

It was an outstanding effort from the U13 squad.  It has been a delight to work with them over the season and they have done everything we’ve asked of them.

I would like to thank the girls for their effort, parents for their support throughout and Mr Harper, Mrs Maskery and Mrs Goddard for their combined work with the squad.

The school would like to thank C&C Insurance Brokers for their sponsorship of our finalists:
