Busy week ends super junior spring term

A maths day, our annual Easter egg competition and a (scheduled!) visit from the police rounded off a super junior school spring term.

Emojis, Minions and “ancient Eggyptians” featured in the display made by pupils from nursery through to year six:

See our Facebook page for more photos of our children’s Easter creations.

Police visit the nursery

PCSOs from Stockport East visited our nursery on the last day of term to talk to our children about their jobs.

Nursery children with police

After a tour of their car and a talk on staying safe, our children gave the officers their most important assignment of the day – following the Easter bunny’s footprints!

Maths day

A Smarties-themed maths day also got our year one pupils’ brains into gear just before the end of term.

Year one maths day

Baking, measuring and a number treasure hunt showed our children how they can use maths in everyday life.

Visit the junior school

Our next junior school open event is on Saturday 9th May 2015.

School day tours also run during school hours in term time to let you and your family see what Stockport Grammar is like on a normal school day.

To arrange a nursery or junior school day tour please call our headmaster’s secretary Beverley Cheyne on 0161 419 2405.
