Mr Wheeler to run marathon for cancer charity

Mr Wheeler dressed as LPT Man

Junior school headmaster Mr Tim Wheeler is running the London Marathon for the Little Princess Trust on Sunday – a week after two of our girls donated their hair to the charity.

Mr Wheeler is the chair of trustees for the charity who provide real wigs to children who lose their hair through cancer treatment.

He will be raising money for the trust by running the marathon dressed as LPT Man (pictured above), complete with pink wig and giant scissors!

Talia and Lily donate their hair

Year five pupils Talia Zelhof and Lily Amet were inspired to donate their hair to the charity by Mr Wheeler’s marathon run.

The girls had their long locks cut at Little BigHeads in Wilmslow and will be sending their hair straight to the charity.

“Proud that we’re able to help”

The girls told us in March that:

It’s sad that children are losing their hair when they’re so ill, so we thought it’d be nice to help.

We’re proud that we’re able to help children by doing something so simple!
