Golfers enjoyed a day of sport and fundraising at Stockport Golf Club in aid of the school’s bursary fund, supported by main sponsor the Vernon Building Society.
A friendly but competitive spirit prevailed as eighteen teams took to the course for the school’s annual golf event. Despite a patchy forecast, the weather remained favourable giving the players the best opportunity to enjoy their round at Cheshire’s premier venue for county golf events and championships.
The eagerly anticipated results were announced at the evening dinner – congratulations to SAS Daniels who were the overall winners of the team event.
We are very grateful to all our supporters of this year’s event – Vernon Building Society, Manchester Paperbox Ltd, William Turner & Son, F.R. Monkhouse Ltd, Darrin Grant, Mike Kenyon, SAS Daniels LLP, IBI Taylor Young, Bluefin, Maestro Financial Services, Bullocks Coaches, Santander, Tom Yam Thai Restaurant, Brewin Dolphin, Catertrader, Bromleys Solicitors, iSAMS Independent Ltd, Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP, Chariot Office Supplies Ltd, Platinum Advertising Ltd, Fine Print Ltd, Axis cleaning and support services, Angela Beer, Anne Mack, Richard Rimmington, Keith Lansdale, Iain Bainbridge, Intersect UK, Stockport Golf Club, Littlewoods Butchers, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa, Prestbury Golf Club, Bramhall Park Golf Club, Marple Golf Club, Chester Zoo, Jackson Hammond and Temple Spa.
