Boys and girls in the nursery had a fantastic day out at Stockley Farm in Northwich.
It was beautiful warm weather and the day started with the children having a tractor and trailer ride to the animal sheds on the farm. The children got to see a variety of animals including cows, calves, pigs, goats and lambs.
The children were very excited about visiting pets corner where they all got the chance to hold baby rabbits and stroke the animals, although perhaps the highlight of the day was bottle feeding the lambs and goats.
After some lunch the children also watched the birds of prey display and some of the farm’s 200 cows being milked. They were taught all about the animals and shown what happens daily on the farm.
It was a lovely day out which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
