15-year-old fourth year Megan Taylor has been selected for U16 Greater Manchester County after a string of impressive performances for the school and club.

Meanwhile, 13-year-old third year pupil Beth Taylor has been picked to join the Greater Manchester U14s academy squad after showcasing her remarkable skills throughout the year.

The girls will be training on a weekly basis while continuing to play in the school teams.

Both girls have previously shown excellent skills while playing for the school, earlier this year Beth was part of our U13 squad who finished second in the Smile independent schools netball cup and Megan has previously been picked to join the Greater Manchester U14s academy and has also successfully completed trials to play for the Manchester Thunder U14s academy.

Head of girls’ PE, Mrs Goddard said:

“Congratulations to the girls. They thoroughly deserve their places after all the hard work they’ve put into their netball in and out of school, and we’re really looking forward to seeing how they get on!”
