Careers Convention

Pupils in Fourth Year, Fifth Year and the Lower Sixth are invited to the Careers and Higher Education Evening which takes place tonight in the Dining Hall.

Representatives from a wide range of professions, industries, universities and the services will be available on the evening of Thursday, 22nd September, to offer advice and information to pupils and their parents concerning possible choices of career and Higher Education courses.

The evening will run from 6.00pm to 8.30pm and parents can speak to the specialists they feel may be able to help with their child’s future career plans.

Careers Co-ordinator Helen Tadman said: “We are hoping that at a time of rapidly changing employment patterns, we can offer young people the opportunity to explore as many potential careers as possible, both in their own research and through talking with specialists who can offer practical and up-to-date advice. I hope therefore that you and your child will take advantage of this opportunity and I look forward to seeing you in school this evening.”
