School tours

Pupils walking down path

Tours run during school hours (except lunchtimes) in term time and allow you and your family to see what Stockport Grammar is like on a normal school day.

What happens on a tour

All visitors to the school should report to the gatehouse at the main entrance before a tour.

Senior school and sixth form

Tours usually last about an hour and are led by our admissions secretary.

They can be tailored to suit each individual child dependent on their interests – this can be discussed with the admission secretary prior to your tour. You will then be able to see classes being taught and observe the working environment of the school.

Junior school and nursery tours

Tours usually last an hour and are normally led by headmaster Mr Tim Wheeler, who will be able to answer any questions you might have about the school.

School tours must be pre-booked.
