Albert Johnston Travel Award £1000

L6th, U6th   Applications to be submitted to Miss Barton by 7th November 2017. Interviews will be held before Christmas. Travel in the summer holidays. Applications take the form of a detailed written plan, including an itinerary and budget, and an interview with the award panel. Organised by Miss Barton   A bursary offered to individuals or teams from the Sixth Form who would like to travel to further their experience and knowledge of a passion or subject

Alan Turing Cryptography Competition

Animation Competition

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, L6th, U6th CR2 Thursdays 1.05 – 1.30 pm From September until June. (Closing date – tba) Attend the Animation Club. See Mr Clarke Open to members of the Animation club. Make a one minute animation and enter either as an individual or group

Arkwright Scholarship

5th Technology Office December – January See Mr N Young. Complete application form, take an exam, then interview. Designed to encourage pupils into engineering & design related careers. If successful then receive bursary of £600 over two years of A level study.

Cipher Challenge

Engineering Education Scheme

L6th T2 Residential Workshop and Assessment Day See Mr McKinna-Whitby  This is a 5 month ‘Real World’ engineering problem in conjunction with a local company. Pupils normally qualify for the CREST Award at Gold Level

Music Festival
