Old Stopfordians make a winning return to Stockport Grammar School

A large crowd of current and past pupils and parents gathered at the First XV rugby pitch on Wednesday as last year's leavers returned to Stockport Grammar School as Old Stopfordians to face the School's newest First XV.
Soon after the Summer Term drew to a close, Stockport Grammar School's 1st XI jetted off to Malta for their 10th annual cricket tour where they faced a series against local side Marsa. Mr Richard Young reports on the week:

Stockport Grammar School's Fifth Year (yr 11) group of 160 pupils have plenty to celebrate as they collect another record-breaking set of GCSE results. The boys and girls have gained 71% of all grades at A* and A, with a third of the entire year group being awarded straight A* and A grades in all ten subjects taken. 92% netted grades between A* and B and over 98% of all grades were between A*-C.
