At the recent Old Stopfordians 1980s reunion, a number of people showed great interest in attending another Wasdale weekend (the last gathering was in May 2007). We are therefore inviting you to join us for Wasdale 2012.

When
Friday 11th to Sunday 13th May 2012. Alternatively, just stay one night if you wish.
Where
Church stile campsite or, if you don’t have a tent or don’t want to camp, local B&Bs or Wastwater youth hostel.

You can book your own pitch direct with Ruth Knight at the farm via http://www.churchstile.com/bookingform.htm. Mention that you are with Stockport Grammar School. It might be wise to do this well in advance of the weekend.
Who is invited
Any Old Stops, past staff and current staff are invited. You don’t have to have been to previous Wasdale camps.
All Old Stops who enjoy the outdoors are welcome. Either come with friends from your year group, family, partners or on your own.
We have set up a Facebook link so that you will be able to see who signs up in the coming months.
Walks
There will be guided walks if you want to join them. Alternatively go off with friends and meet up in the evening.
Food
Bring your own breakfast and packed lunch and use the school house facilities. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided.
We will eat in the evenings in the Screes or Strands Hotel depending on numbers. There will be further information on this nearer the time.
Charge
Stockport Grammar School will meet the cost for the use of the school house. You will need to meet other costs directly.
