Best wishes to all Old Stopfordians out there.
The External Relations department has continued to place a great deal of attention on communication during the year. Not least was the publication in the early summer of the first edition of Old Stops’ Review to be published annually. The office received many supportive emails regarding the content and the layout and it is hoped that this issue will be the first of many.
Can I first of all thank, on your behalf, Christopher Willcock (OS 1948) for the patient and thorough research work that he undertook to compile a much more comprehensive record than had previously existed of those Old Stopfordians who fell in the first world war.
Many of you who were at school at the time will know that that we have been requesting your thoughts and memories associated with the arrival of girls and the changes to school life at that time.
