Arkwright Scholarship Fifth Years   December to January See Mr N Young. Complete application form, take an exam, then interview Designed to encourage pupils into engineering and design related careers. If successful then receive bursary of £600 over 2 years of A Level study

First prize = £150 Amazon vouchers

Debating – ESU Schools Mace Debating Competition Fifth Years to Upper Sixth   Throughout the school year with the final taking place in April See Mrs Braude Oldest national debating competition in the UK. Team of 2 per school

Model United Nations Fourth Years to Upper Sixth Weekly meetings in run up to a conference for those involved. External competitions held at various schools in the UK throughout the year Varies each year. Music Festival First Years to Upper Sixth Various Concert takes place on 4th July 2012 Letters sent to form tutors in May – pupils complete the form to arrange an audition 10 categories. Concert with a difference where musicians are judged.
