This year’s parents’ association Christmas fair raised an incredible £10,500 for charity and school funds.
From Santa’s grotto to face painting, the teddy bear tombola, book sales and mulled wine, there were stalls too numerous to mention and plenty of fun for all ages.
How the money is used
Events like the Christmas fair help the Stopfordian Parents’ Association (SPA) donate thousands of pounds to charity and towards school projects, from toys for our infant children to huge contributions towards new school minibuses and state-of-the-art lighting systems – and the association are already busy planning how to use this year’s profits.
“A brilliant time”
The SPA told us that everyone had a great day:
All the adults were clearly enjoying themselves but, of course, best of all, the children were having a brilliant time.
There are a few final pennies still to add in but the total raised comes to over £10,500, which is an amazing achievement.
The association would like to thank all the parents, pupils and staff who helped at the fair, and to everybody who came along and joined in the fun!
