Ross Millington is a British long distance runner. Ross represented Great Britain in the Men’s 10,000m Rio Olympic Games in 2016 and continues to represent Britain in the European Championships alongside many other marathon’s and competitions.
SGS is where I started my athletic journey. If it wasn’t for the encouragement of the PE staff and the amount of sport we were able to do at SGS I may never have gone down this path. The competitive element at SGS has helped me achieve in all aspects since I left the school.
Ross’ career highlights include:
Represented Great Britain alongside Mo Farah and Andrew Vernon in the Men’s 10,000m Rio Olympic Games in 2016
Won British Championships and Olympic Trials over 5000m
Won English Championships over 10 miles twice
Won 5000m silver medal at the European U23 Championships
