Kenneth M Leigh (OS 1946)
Mr Kenneth M Leigh (OS 1946) died peacefully on 30th March 2017.
Mr Christopher Willcock has shared the following memories of Mr Leigh:
“In 1935 Ken and I were in the same clas (of 1954 at Great Moor Council School and again in 1939 when he joined SGS. I had no further communication with him after he left until he came to the Remembrance Day Services and the past 65 plus years rolled away. Since then we have exchanged many emails with news and views together with family news and photos.
Sadly, Ken and Brenda had only just moved from Warrington to Tunbridge Wells in order to be near one of their sons and I had an email on 26 March describing the move and their new surroundings.
In 2015 Ken had sent to OS Notices a tribute to Roy Clough (OS 1941) with whom he had worked for many years.
