Lisa Murphy (OS 2005, Former Member of Staff)
The School was saddened to hear of the death of Former English Teacher, Lisa Murphy, last year following a battle with cancer. Lisa was aged just 45.
Lisa Left SGS is 2005 to pursue a career at Liverpool John Moores University within Educational Studies.
Old Stop, Laura Hariani (OS 2006) informed the School noting: “I am sure there are some truly amazing memories of Lisa’s time at SGS from both staff and pupils. It has come as a huge shock that Lisa sadly passed away last year after her second round of chemo.”
Liverpool John Moores University hosted a Charity Football Match in memory of Lisa on 27th June 2015.
