We offer a number of ways to visit and experience life in the Junior School and Nursery – these include individual tours and Open Events. We look forward to welcoming you to see how we inspire every child and create a lifetime of opportunity.

Tours

We would be delighted to take you on an individual family school day tour. Appointment bookings can be made by contacting the Head’s PA Miss Andrea Mariet at marieta@stockportgrammar.co.uk or calling 0161 419 2405.

Open Events

All of our open events are designed to show you and your family important aspects of life at Stockport Grammar School. When you visit, you will be able to see how our latest building project, a new purpose built Nursery classroom and additional outdoor play and learning spaces, creates a sense of adventure and exploration for our pupils.

Our next open event is on Saturday 11th May 2024. To secure your place on the Nursery and Reception Open Event, please complete this booking form. If you would like to attend the Years 1 to 4 Open Event, fill out this form. Where vacancies are available, we welcome applications from pupils in other year groups.

On Saturday 23rd September 2023, we held a Nursery, Reception, Year 3 and Year 4 Open Event. We also held Nursery Open Events on Thursday 11th and Thursday 18th January 2024.  Children join our Nursery class in the September after their third birthday. If places are available, they may be able to join in the term after their third birthday (January or April).
