Bad Segeberg welcomes Stockport Grammar’s German exchange pupils

German exchange pupils in Bad Segeberg

The north German town of Bad Segeberg welcomed our fifth year pupils over the half-term break as part of the traditional exchange with partner school Städtisches Gymnasium.

The exchange gave pupils the chance to experience the German way of life, culture and customs, as well as plenty of practice speaking the language during two days at the school and day trips to Hamburg, Lübeck, Schleswig and Schwerin.

One of the most memorable parts of the visit was the mayoress of Bad Segeberg’s reception for pupils at the town hall, but the highlights of the exchange were undoubtedly the memories and the new friends that were made.
