Jingle bells signal the countdown to the Christmas Fair
The Stopfordian Parents’ Association’s annual Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 25th November from 11am to 3pm.
The festive event, which comes exactly one month before the big day itself, promises lots of family fun with games such as a rodeo reindeer, a coconut shy and a teddy tombola and there will be a host of stalls selling gifts and novelties.
A fantastic food hall in Hallam Hall will be serving refreshments throughout the day and attendees can also get into the festive spirit as they enjoy a mince pie and glass of mulled wine in the Dining Hall.
Of course Santa will be popping in – it really wouldn’t be a Christmas Fair without him – and the grand raffle features lots of top prizes including an Apple iPad, an Amazon Echo and Trafford Centre vouchers.
The SPA are keen for as many parents as possible to get involved. They are looking for volunteers to spare an hour or two of their time to help out on a stall and to donate items that they can include in the raffle or sell.
Past donations for the popular raffle have included hampers, alcoholic beverages, electronic goods and vouchers and items such as wrapped chocolate, toys, teddies, bottles, toiletries, books and games would be perfect for the stalls.
