Latest Taking Stock issue now live


Issue 75 of Taking Stock, the school’s termly magazine, is now available to download and read from the Magazines and Publications section of the school website.

The Spring/Summer 2020 edition has 16 pages of news and photos from both the Senior and Junior Schools.

Senior School stories include pieces on netball success for the Under 14 team, the Classics Play, remote learning, Fourth Year Bella Platt scooping a national award, the Chicago production, Lower Sixth student Ben Finlay-McDougall’s Albert Johnston Travel Award win, pupils’ charity fundraising work and the Under 15 rugby squad’s impressive National Cup run.

Junior School stories include an update on the new Pre- Reception building, STEM workshops, Waste Week activities, pupils’ impressive work around International Women’s Day and a piece on the new SGJS Headmaster, Mr Matthew Copping.

The main image on the front cover is of the Eco-Committee’s trip to 10 Downing Street, where they handed over a petition which focused on reducing carbon emissions.
