Pupils show their enterprising side to reach final
Lower Sixth pupils demonstrated their flair for business by being crowned the winner of Young Enterprise’s area final.
The group’s business ‘Frameous: bespoke letter frames tailored to fit your specification’ was the outright winner of the Stockport-Tameside-Rochdale area final and they also won the award for Best Trade stand.
Mr Richard Parker, Head of Business & Economics, said: “Our Young Enterprise company for 2016-17, ‘Fourteam’, having overcome many trials and tribulations, have produced a genuinely innovative product that is appealing to all types of consumers. They deserve much credit for their hard-work, perseverance and innovation.”
‘Fourteam’ was represented at the event by Daniel Jones, Natasha Brickstock, Seun Odusanya, Nicole So and Shakeel Ahmed.
They now progress to the Greater Manchester final which is being held at Manchester Metropolitan University on 4th May.
We wish the team good luck as they take on the best young business brains from the rest of Greater Manchester.
