Book Shop

The Book Shop is open most lunchtimes and Mrs Holt, the Assistant Librarian, is in charge.

The shop sells books, revision guides, stationery, art supplies, calculators, school swimming caps, Sixth Form ties and colour ties. Any books not in stock can be ordered and they usually arrive within 2-5 days.

There are over 3,000 books and over 200 different types of stationery items. Pupils pay using a sQuid account which parents can open and top up via the Parent Portal.

The bookshop started as an offshoot of the Library, which used to be in the Hallam Hall. It moved to its current location opposite the Sixth Form common room in 1983.
