Apply to the Senior School

Choosing a school for your child as they approach Senior School age is an important decision for parents and at Stockport Grammar School we would like to make the experience as simple, comfortable and stress-free as possible.
We host a number of open events and taster days as well as offering bespoke tours for parents so that you can view the surroundings and get a feel for the environment that your son or daughter could enjoy.
We welcome your application for a place for your child and would request that you complete the online admission form. A non-refundable fee of £75 per child is applicable upon submission of the online form.
For Senior School entry other than at 11+, please speak to the Admissions department before completing the online form, as places are currently unavailable.
The exam for admission to First Year in September 2024 will take place on Wednesday 10th January 2024. The closing date for applications is Friday 8th December 2023.
Please email admissions@stockportgrammar.co.uk if this is of interest.
