Busy term for the SPA
The Stopfordian Parents’ Association (SPA) has a busy Autumn term planned with an Annual General Meeting (AGM), Christmas Fair and uniform sale all in the calendar.
Annual General Meeting
The 2021 SPA AGM will take place on Thursday 14th October 2021 at 6.30pm in the Governors’ Room.
All parents, as members, are invited to attend and it is a great chance to hear how the funds the SPA have raised have been used for the benefit of SGS pupils.
Selected agenda points include an update on funding approvals and reports from the Co-chairs and Treasurer.

Christmas Fair
The annual Christmas Fair will be taking place on Saturday 27th November from 11am until 2pm and a raffle will be held on the day.
The SPA are collecting prizes for the raffle and they would be extremely grateful for any donations from parents or local businesses. If you would like to donate, or you know anyone who would, please get in touch. There are also opportunities to book a stall as an individual or a business.

Uniform Sale
The first second-hand uniform sale of the 2021-2022 academic year took place on Wednesday 29th September and the next one is scheduled for Wednesday 10th November.

Cookbook
The SPA’s new cookbook, ‘Good Enough To Eat’, is available now to order on Wisepay.
Funds from the sale of the books, which is packed full of parent, teacher and children’s recipes for you to try at home, will benefit all SGS pupils.
The books are available at £15 each.
The SPA plays a vital role in the school community and Stockport Grammar School is proud to have the committed support and assistance of the Stopfordian Parents’ Association (SPA). The fun activities and events they organise raise valuable funds which enhance the children’s experience across the whole school.
