Mr Jeffrey Duncan Robbins (OS 1958)
Stockport Grammar School was saddened to receive notice of the death of Old Stopfordian Mr Jeffrey Duncan Robbins (OS 1958) on 31st December 2022 following a long illness. The School was notified by his cousin and Former Governor, Mr Roger Yates.
Mr Robbins attended Stockport Grammar School between 1947-1958 and went on to read Metallurgy at the University of Birmingham. Often described as a gentleman, with a caring and humorous nature, Mr Robbins and his wife ran a care home in Clitheroe for many years.
Mr Robbins kept in touch with his peers from Stockport Grammar School, regularly attending Lacrosse Reunions and becoming Secretary of the Old Stopfordians’ Golf Society.
