Mr Richard Hackney (OS 1957)

We are saddened to record the death of Old Stopfordian Mr Richard Hackney (OS 1957) on 28th February 2022.

Mr Hackney attended Stockport Grammar School from 1946 to 1957.  After leaving Stockport Grammar School he spent 10 years in the Royal Navy.

The school was notified by Old Stopfordian Mr Christopher Lord (OS 1956) who first met Richard at prep school aged 4.
