Mrs Sara ‘Sally’ J. Hemsley (OS Shaa Society Member, Former Parent & Governor's Wife)
Stockport Grammar School was saddened to receive the news of the death of Mrs Sara ‘Sally’ J. Hemsley on the 20th March 2022. Mrs Hemsley was a loyal supporter of Stockport Grammar School, the wife of former Governor & Old Stopfordian, Mr James Hemsley, mother to Old Stopfordian Scott Hemsley, and a member of the School’s Shaa Society.
Mrs Hemsley’s son, Scott Hemsley, gave the following notice:
Sadly, my mother Sally Hemsley passed away on the 20th March at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Mum enjoyed joining in the school activities over the years with my father Jimmy Hemsley.
Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
