Walter Griffiths Deacon (OS 1961)
Stockport Grammar School was saddened to receive the news that Old Stopfordian Walter Griffiths Deacon (OS 1961) has passed away. Walter attended Stockport Grammar School between 1949 and 1961.
The School received the news by Walter’s brother, Richard Deacon on 14th March 2021.
Walter was a keen rugby player during his time at Stockport Grammar School, the photograph below has been provided by Richard.

Walter’s funeral was held via an online service on 15th April 2021.
