Spring Concert 2023

This year’s Spring Concert will take place on Wednesday 8th March at 7:30pm at St George’s Church.

The concert will feature a selection of folksongs and other choral repertoire sung by Junior Chamber Choir. Chorus will sing Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ with an orchestra comprising professional players and students from the Royal Northern College of Music. It will also feature Sixth Form vocal soloists.

Wind Orchestra will play music from Holst’s ‘Second Suite in F’ and the String Orchestra will perform the first movement of Bach’s ‘Brandenburg Concerto No. 3’. First Orchestra will play the first movement of Weber’s ‘Clarinet Concerto No. 1’, featuring Upper Sixth student Ben Wood as the soloist.

Price: Adults £8, children £5

Tickets are available to purchase on Wisepay and there is no limit to the number of tickets that each family can purchase.

Tickets will include the provision of refreshments served during the interval.
