We are delighted to announce that we are holding Nursery Open Events on Thursday 11th and Thursday 18th January 2024!
We invite families to step into the exciting, happy world of our Nursery and see how we inspire children’s first learning steps. You will experience life at Stockport Grammar Junior School as you take a tour and speak to senior members of staff and Head Mr Matthew Copping.
The 11th January Open Event has now passed but bookings can still be made for the 18th January Open Event. Book your open event place online now!
If you are not able to attend the open events, we would be pleased to arrange a school day tour on another date. Please contact Miss Andrea Mariet, the Head’s PA, on marieta@stockportgrammar.co.uk to arrange your visit.
Children join our Nursery class in the September after their third birthday. If places are available, they may be able to join in the term after their third birthday (January or April).
Our Nursery class helps children settle into school life, providing them with diverse and exciting experiences to enhance their all-round physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
Through a variety of fun daily activities, we develop the whole child; their personal and social skills, early language and mathematical understanding, their awareness of the world around them and their physical and creative skills.
We look forward to showing you how our recently-completed purpose-built Nursery classroom and additional outdoor play and learning spaces create a sense of adventure and exploration for our pupils.
