SPA kick off festive season at Christmas Fair
The Stopfordian Parents’ Association (SPA) were thrilled to welcome the SGS community to their Christmas Fair at the end of November.
The event was an astounding success with approx. £9,750 raised. These funds will enhance the experience of children across the whole school.
Attendees had the opportunity to visit a range of stalls, including stands from the school’s Young Enterprise and Dragon’s Den teams.
Tasty treats, including mince pies and mulled wine flew off the shelves and the raffle, which featured prizes such as an iPad and shopping and food vouchers, was well received.
Santa made a hugely-welcome appearance in his grotto and children could try their hand at a range of activities, including the always fun Rodeo Reindeer!
To add extra seasonal spirit to the day, members of the school’s Choir sang a number of carols.
Thank you to everyone involved in making the Fair a wonderful occasion, including stallholders, advertisers, individuals and companies who donated raffle prizes and, of course, the amazing members of the SPA.
