Spring Concert on the horizon
This year’s Spring Concert, which will be held at St George’s Church, Heaviley, will take place on Tuesday 22nd March and we would love for you to join us.
The concert will start at 7.30pm and doors will open at 7pm. Refreshments are included but tickets must be purchased in advance via Wisepay.
The concert will feature a selection of madrigals, spirituals, jazz pieces and other choral repertoire by the Chamber Choir and Junior Chamber Choir.
Chorus will sing Will Todd’s ‘Jazz Missa Brevis for choir and jazz band accompaniment’ and Sixth Former Dan Vincent will perform Joseph Horowitz’s ‘Euphonium Concerto with Wind Orchestra (Movements 1 and 2)’.
String Orchestra will be playing Henry Purcell’s ‘Chaconne in G Minor’ and Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Libertango’ whilst First Orchestra will perform the theme music from ‘Jurassic Park’ by John Williams.
