Students to take to the stage

Tickets are on sale for various shows at SGS

As we move further into the Spring term, we are excited that this year’s Classics Play, Dance Show and Drama Performance are just around the corner – and tickets are now available!

The Classics Play, ‘Frogs: What’s So Funny ‘Bout Peace, Love And Understanding’, takes place on Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th February in the Hallam Hall. Tickets cost £4 for children and £6 for adults and are available on Wisepay.

The Dance Show, ‘A Night at the Movies’, takes place on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th February in the Main Hall. Pupils from across the Senior School have been working hard to put together the first full scale dance show for over three years and it will feature a range of dance styles. Tickets, which are available on WisePay, cost £5.

The Drama Performance, which takes place in the Main Hall on Thursday 10th March, sees Fourth Year GCSE Drama pupils take on ‘DNA’, Dennis Kelly’s hilarious tale with a dark heart. It is a promenade performance and the audience are invited to stand and move around the space to wherever the scene occurs, or sit on a randomly placed bench or stool. Tickets are free and are available on Wisepay.
