Creative and Performing Arts

At Stockport Grammar School, we believe that every pupil should be able to express themselves through the arts – whether this be through playing a musical instrument, taking part in school performances or getting creative in the art studio. It is this ethos that has led the school to achieve the Artsmark Platinum Award. Combined with an extensive arts programme within school, our aim is to deliver our outstanding resources to the wider community, including local schools and theatre groups. Many of our Old Stopfordian alumni have achieved success in the Performing Arts industry and regular performances and exhibitions are staged throughout the academic year.
